This article is about the SAFE outpost. For the Guard Duty miniseries, visit Rat's Nest.

Outpost Rat's Nest is a military outpost that housed a satellite used to help the UNSC monitor the middle colonies. This is where Jace Casper was reassigned to after being attacked by Nicole Vega for calling her and Sarah Daws "bitchly". This outpost will be the eponymous main setting of Rat's Nest, a prequel miniseries currently in production.
