Outpost Rat's Nest is a military outpost that housed a satellite used to help the UNSC monitor the middle colonies. This is where Jace Casper was reassigned to after being attacked by Nicole Vega for calling her and Sarah Daws "bitchly". This outpost will be the eponymous main setting of Rat's Nest, a prequel miniseries currently in production.

- This outpost was named after the Halo 3 map it uses, Rat's Nest.
- In the finale of Classic Season 1, Emery Eden shows great disdain for this outpost and destroys it.
- Rat's Nest is located on the same planet as Outpost High Ground and Outpost Pit Fall, with Emery Eden traveling to each outpost via warthog before acquiring a pelican during Season 1 after the events of Rat's Nest.
