- In early drafts of Rat's Nest, she was going to be related to Frank Collins due to them both being British. Syp The Mighty ultimately chose for Ellie to be her own character instead, feeling it wouldn't make sense for too many characters to be related after the Vega sisters and the Jones triplets.
