Trivia
- This episode's title refers to the fallout between Trooper and Prim, being their last encounter.
- jaxbeetle designed this episode's thumbnail, who also created an illustration for it's release depicting Trooper and Prim.
- SephticMI animated the fight sequence between Trooper and Prim, who also animated the fight between Trooper and Alana Reynolds in Overture.
- Both Trooper and Prim are revealed to be assassins who worked for someone known as the "Operator", with Trooper not being an ODST nor Spartan at all.
- Prim's death is depicted in this episode, having happened at the hands of Trooper after being hired to assassinate him despite the two having shared history beforehand. It also reveals Prim's "ghost" to be a manifestation of Trooper's mind, representing his guilty conscience.
- The sound of ravens are heard after Prim's death, in reference to the Edgar Allen Poe story "The Raven" where the titular animal represents "Mournful and Never-ending Remembrance".
- At the end of this episode, Trooper seeks out a vehicle from the garage of Outpost Rat's Nest, directly setting up his introduction in Machine.
- This episode was originally going to be the ending of Rat's Nest overall, to be directly followed by a flashfoward to Emery and the Black Out Guards arriving on the outpost after the events of Retrograde. This was changed when Syp and Revoltge wanted to further connect the series with Guard Duty and wrote Curtain Call...Encore!, with the flashforward post-credits sequence being included in that episode.
