Randy DeLuca
Commander Randall Alejandro DeLuca, or just Randy for short, is an intelligence officer who is the lead analyst for SAFE, voiced by ethanchaotic. He works directly under Ignacio Dominguez aboard the UNSC Cosmo, acting as his second-in-command.
Personality
Randy is a dedicated and loyal member of the UNSC. He cares deeply for his job within the SAFE aboard the UNSC Cosmo.
Role in Plot
Events of Season 1
In HQ, after Ignacio snaps at him for Geff calling him directly, Randy explains that he never agreed to block Outpost Black Out's number. Randy later sympathizes with Geff, noting that Outpost Black Out is one of their most unproductive outposts. Sometime later, in Replacement, Ignacio discloses to Randy that one of the UNSC's partners, Trinity Advancements, has requested the discharge of Geff. After a back and forth, Randy is ordered by his boss to negotiate the transfer of all the soldiers of the outpost in addition to Geff.
Events of Rat's Nest
Randy is called upon by Detective Emily Vega during Curtain Call...Encore!, being given a status update for the ongoing investigation into an incident on Outpost Rat's Nest. After an increasingly tense back and forth, Randy informs Vega that she need not to worry about the case any longer as he is instead sending in a "seasoned professional" in her stead.
Classic
The original incarnation of Randy who appeared in WarGames and Classic Season 2 before the series continuity was rebooted with Season 1. He was voiced by ethanchaotic.

  Randy during Dare After the death of Spartan Louie Vargas, in Ambush, Randy analyzed the video logs sent from the blue robot that accompanied him to discover the existence of Damned. He revealed this to his superior, Commander Ignacio Dominguez, as well as informing him about the disappearance of Alana Reynolds. Sometime later, inside of HQ during Dare, Randy is joined by Brigadier and Valentine to interrogate Percy O'Hara about the attack the latter survived on Outpost Ice Box. Appearances |

Trivia
- ethanchaotic provides his voice, with Syp The Mighty casting him after hearing his performance as Archie Walker in Sandguardians.
- He was originally going to be white and grey, rather than white and red, but this was changed in production after his voice actor, ethanchaotic, suggested to Syp that Randy "felt red."
- While he wears the Bean-117 backpack and Mark VI shoulder pads in addition to the Mark VI chest plate and Security helmet in WarGames, but in Season 1 he has the CQB shoulder pads instead with no backpack. He regains the backpack in Team Cosmo!, upset at no one noticing it, though it's unlikely this would be maintained in Echoes.
- His full name, Randall DeLuca, can be seen in an article by the news outlet HissingHints, seen in Wiped from the Galaxy, as being the second-in-command of SAFE below Ignacio Dominguez.
- His voice actor ethanchaotic says the phrase "It's me, Randy!" to get into character.
