Sangheili are a race of humanoids with mandibles instead of mouths and a more reptilian appearance. Members of this species first appear in WarGames as members of Damned, though were first mentioned in Paranoia by June Vega and Sarah Daws as the reason for humanity's survival during the Invasion War because of their unexpected alliance toward the end of it.
