Outpost Rat's Nest is a military outpost that housed a satellite used to help the UNSC monitor the middle colonies.

  • This outpost was named after the Halo 3 map it uses, Rat's Nest.
  • In the Classic continuity, this outpost was destroyed by Emery Eden at the end of Infinity. Oddly, there did not appear to be any guards stationed here when Emery and the guards arrived. However, Emery did appear to recognize it by having a disgust for the outpost and knowing its name, indicating he had been here before.
