Halo 3 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie Studios and released in 2007. Ever since its debut, Guard Duty has been filmed within this game. The port of this game by 343 Industries included within Halo would be used starting with Elsewhere, the fourth episode of Season 2. Prior to this, the original release version and later the Mythic multiplayer-only version included with Halo 3: ODST were used to film the series.
