"Cold Storage" is an abandoned scientific research facility located in the outer rim. The soldiers from Outpost Black Out were falsely led to believe this facility was their new outpost after the supposed reassignment in Infinity, with Cold Storage acting as the main setting of Classic Season 2.

The Flood Containment Center was an area where a cluster of Flood spores were held to study from whatever scientists previously occupied the facility. Nicole Vega was trapped inside from Trapped! until Reactionary.

- The map Waterfall, included with Halo's version of Halo 3, is used to represent the exterior of Cold Storage.
