Rat's Nest
Rat's Nest is an upcoming action comedy miniseries created by Syp The Mighty and Revoltge that serves as a prequel to Guard Duty. This series will center on The Spartan just prior to his introduction in Season 1 as well as featuring the guards stationed on eponymous outpost.
It is currently in production, though no release date will be given until production wraps.

Trivia
- This series was announced in Coming Soon, a fourth-wall breaking Sides episode produced upon the end of Classic Season 2. It was written shortly after Season 1 at the end of 2023 into early 2024. Its production was reaffirmed in Stay Tuned, another fourth-wall breaking Sides episode, where its logo was revealed as well as the involvement of animators EprothStudios and Sephtic returning from Season 1.
- Syp and Revoltge consider The Spartan, a recurring character throughout Season 1, to be the protagonist of this series. Despite this, they do not consider it required viewing for the upcoming second season. Prim will also appear, with TheIdsStudios reprising his role.
- Taking the lessons learned from the production of Season 1, Syp intends for this series to be fully produced prior to airing for a weekly release schedule as well as having its soundtrack scored-to-picture in preparation for the upcoming second Guard Duty season.
