Rat's Nest is an upcoming comic science fiction miniseries created by Syp The Mighty and Revoltge that serves as a prequel to Season 1. According to the writing duo in Coming Soon, this series will center on Trooper just prior to his introduction in Season 1 as well as the guards stationed on Outpost Rat's Nest.

- This series was announced in Coming Soon, a Sides episode.
- Blankslate_GG, voice of Mitchell Miller, created the logo for this series. Blankslate will also reprise his role as Jace Casper.
- Syp considers this series to be a spiritual successor to Major Malfunction, though none of the characters from that series will appear.
