Trivia

  • His appearance in WarGames differs from his appearance in Major Malfunction, as in the latter he wears a Recon chest plate with Security shoulder pads and various different helmets while in the former he appears with the CQB chest plate and Mark VI shoulder pads. Because of this, O'Brien retains the helmet he wore in the final episode of Major Malfunction, the CQB.
    • His secondary color was also changed, originally maroon in Major Malfunction before being changed to rubine for WarGames. This was simply due to Syp misremembering the color.
  • Syp had actually contacted Avcracy, O'Brien's voice actor from Major Malfunction II, to reprise the role for WarGames but never got a response. Instead, Blankslate_GG took over the role.
  • His first name is never stated in-series, with Syp coming up with it after the release of WarGames. During the production of the original Major Malfunction, its creators considered his full name to be Phillip O'Brian, with the spelling of his last name changing by the time WarGames was produced.
