Ignacio Dominguez
Administrative Commander Ignacio Dominguez is the head of SAFE and captain of the UNSC Cosmo, voiced by Syp The Mighty.
Personality
Dominguez is a nasally wretched man who only thinks about his personal and political success.
Role in Plot
Events of Season 1
When Geff attempts to call the UNSC Cosmo in HQ, it ends up being a direct line to Dominguez's computer. This leads Dominguez to interrupt Geff and snap at DeLuca for not blocking Outpost Black Out's number. After DeLuca calms him down, Dominguez resumes the call and berates Geff before telling him not to call without his commanding officer's approval. After hanging up, Dominguez vents to DeLuca about his hatred of Outpost Black Out.
Sometime later, in Replacement, he informs DeLuca that one of the UNSC's partners, Trinity Advancements, has requested the discharge of Geff Rodrigo. After a back and forth with DeLuca, Dominguez orders him to negotiate the transfer of all the soldiers of the outpost in addition to Geff.
Dominguez is heard again in Invader, with Sarah calling him to report an intruder incident at Outpost Black Out. Dominguez is immediately dismissive and assures Sarah that nothing is wrong before cutting the transmission. Later, in Stashed, Dominguez calls upon Alana Reynolds and tasks her with transferring the Black Out guards to Trinity's headquarters.
Events of Rat's Nest
During Curtain Call...Encore!, Randy DeLuca mentions to Emily Vega as having used Dominguez's password to access SAFE's database to gather information on Primal, an assassin hired by Trinity Advancements for an undisclosed reason blocked by a non-disclosure agreement.
Events of Red Line
Dominguez is first mentioned as having been the one to shutdown Outpost Ice Box in the incident report filed by its captain, with his signature seen on the document in Bounty Wanted, discussed by podcasters and Red Line hosts Pidge Emmel and Fawkes McShane. He is again discussed by the pair in Wiped from the Galaxy, where they play audio footage of him on a call dismissing concerns brought up to him by Sarah Daws of Outpost Black Out about an intruder on the premises.
Classic
The original incarnation of Dominguez who appeared in Classic Season 1 and WarGames before the series continuity was rebooted with Season 1. He was voiced by Syp The Mighty.

  Ignacio annoyed after hearing of Alana's disappearance Geff calls Dominguez on the phone directly in Something, but Dominguez quickly dismisses him before hanging up. After receiving word of an occupation on Outpost High Ground by unknown forces, Dominguez and Spartan Alana Reynolds retrieved the training robots located within Outpost Pit Fall in Boss with the help of Yellow. Later, in Upgrade, Ignacio informs Geff of the latter's reassignment by lying about Geff and the other guards from Outpost Black Out becoming Spartans. After sending Alana to pick up those guards, Ignacio is met by Spartan Louie Vargas informing him that the robots he had retrieved had awakened. Ignacio and Louie then go to inform the robots of their mission, with Ignacio telling yet another lie about there being a Flood outbreak on the planet Feluppi before sending them on their way with Louie. Sometime afterward, in Ambush, Ignacio is informed by his analyst Randy DeLuca about Louie's death as well as the destruction of the other robots from Outpost High Ground and the identity of Damned. Trivia
- His voice in Something was improvised while Syp was recording her lines. For consistency, Syp had to mimic the voice ten years later during the production of WarGames and again for Season 1.
- Because of his position as head of SAFE, Dominguez can be seen as a minor antagonist of Season 1.
- In Replacement, Dominguez is revealed to have deliberately sent the defective robot that attacked Mitchell Miller during Machine.
- He appears to be on a first-name basis with his direct staff aboard the UNSC Cosmo, being referred to by first name by Randy DeLuca throughout Season 1. In Rat's Nest and Red Line, he is referred to by last name from both his subordinates as well as journalists Pidge Emmel and Fawkes McShane.
