Valentine is an artificial intelligence program, voiced by HezArt1. She is paired with the Brigadier, assisting her with the investigation into attacks on several of SAFE-operated outposts.

Role in Plot

Events of Season 1

Valentine first appears in Retrograde, where she and the Brigadier converse about Alana Reynolds after finding her body on Outpost Pit Fall. During their conversation, they discuss an ODST who was seen on Outpost Rat's Nest as Brigadier inquires about his identity before Valentine reveals who it is.

  • While she wore the Air Assault helmet/shoulders and a Tanker chest plate with an orchid and purple color scheme in Classic Season 2, she appears in the Halo 4 engine with the Keystone helmet and Mark VI armor upon her return in Retrograde.
  • She was largely inspired by Cortana, the deuteragonist of the Halo games who is paired with series protagonist Master Chief.
