• This episode's title is a reference to the 2011 romantic comedy film Crazy, Stupid, Love, replacing "Stupid" with "Cupid".
• This is the first episode to be co-written by Jax Beetle, a friend and longtime collaborator of Syp The Mighty as well as a member of Spite Box.
  • Jax also designed the thumbnail for this episode.
• Blankslate was going to appear as Miller at one point in this episode, but timing did not work out. Despite this, Miller is still mentioned throughout the episode.
• Geff briefly sings the chorus of "Love Makes The World Go 'Round" from the animated series The Powerpuff Girls, specifically the 1999 episode Mime for a Change. This was improvised by his voice actor, Intro-Mind.
