Classic Header.png

Private Dino Jones is a soldier stationed on Outpost Ice Box, voiced by Syp The Mighty.

Personality

Dino is a rude man who will get what is coming to him.

Classic continuity

Events of Classic Season 2

While on patrol with Percy O'Hara (Classic) in Elsewhere on Outpost Ice Box, Dino was stopped by a confused Captain Rico Suave, his boss, about why the two were still around. However, when Emery Eden (Classic) showed up posing as a Spartan, Suave believed he and Emery were on the same side and shot Dino in the head personally, killing him instantly.

Trivia

  • His voice and appearance are an intentional reference to Imutii, a character Syp voices in The Misadventures of Onipex and Pals, a BIONICLE-based stop-motion series created by Prim voice actor TheIdsStudios.
  • His name comes from a scrapped character for an unproduced reboot of Guard Duty that was written in 2014, intended to replace June Vega in the main cast. Here, he was to use the color scheme of Diego Jones from Major Malfunction. Regardless, his name is never stated in-series.
  • Syp chose to give him an ODST helmet in reference to Jones' appearance in Major Malfunction II.
  • Due to a glitch within Halo, Dino has the built-in default emblem on his shoulder pad in Elsewhere.
