Corporal Jack O'Brien was a soldier stationed on Outpost High Ground, voiced by Blankslate. He claimed to be the head guard of his outpost upon Cayde Jasper's disappearance.

Personality

O'Brien is unserious and does not care about his coworkers, especially Linda Kelen.

Events of Season 1

At the end of Machine, O'Brien dismisses the claims by Frank Collins that the latter saw a warthog on the beach of Outpost High Ground. Linda Kelen criticizes O'Brien for supposedly changing his armor to a captain's uniform in the absence of Cayde Jasper, but O'Brien dismisses this as well while Collins and Diego Jones agree with him and insisting he had always been captain.

His dead body is later seen during Overture, presumably killed by members of The Damned after eliminated Jasper earlier.
