Private Frank Collins was a soldier stationed on Outpost High Ground.

Personality

Collins was a cowardly little weenie and frustrated at the shenanigans of his fellow soldiers.

Role in Plot

Events of Season 1

At the end of Machine, Collins claims to have seen a warthog on the beach of Outpost High Ground, though he is swiftly dismissed by both Diego Jones and Jack O'Brien. After Linda Kelen criticizes O'Brien for supposedly changing his armor to a captain's uniform in the absence of Cayde Jasper, but Collins nonetheless decides to join Jones and O'Brien in dismissing her.

Events of Major Malfunction

To be added...

Events of WarGames

Immediately after switching seats with O'Brien, in the opening flashback of Ambush, Collins witnesses O'Brien and Kelen both get shot by a plasma blast. In response, he and Jones exit the warthog and attempt to escape only to encounter a soldier clad in black armor who lunges at them with her sword. Later, in Deception, Spartan Louie Vargas and five repurposed protocol robots investigate the attack and two of the robots discover the dead bodies of Collins and Jones before dismissing them entirely.

Trivia

  • He was voiced by MozzyWozzy in Major Malfunction before Syp The Mighty, voice of Diego Jones in that series, took over the role for WarGames and beyond.
  • His first name is never stated in-series, with Syp coming up with it after the release of WarGames. During the production of the original Major Malfunction, its creators considered his first name to be Nigel.
