Captain Rico Suave is a soldier stationed on Outpost Pit Fall, voiced by EthanChaotic. He is the head guard of his outpost.

Personality

Suave seems to be respected by his team, though he is impatient with Dino Jones.

Role in Plot

Events of Season 1

Suave and Dino Jones stand patrol as they discuss the impending arrival of Alana Reynolds during Stashed. Shortly after they are met by a silent Emery Eden.

Role in Plot

Events of Classic Season 2

While Dino Jones and Percy O'Hara were on patrol in Elsewhere, a confused Suave stopped and questioned them about why they were still around. After an unknown Spartan arrived and attacked Percy, Rico believed Emery was a Spartan and shot Dino in the head himself in an act of alliance. Despite this unrequested assistance, Emery shot Suave in the head twice, killing him.

Trivia

  • Due to a glitch within Halo, Suave has the built-in default emblem on his shoulder pad in Elsewhere.
  • Originally, Suave was voiced by Syp The Mighty in Classic Season 2. When Suave was reintroduced in the main series continuity, Syp cast EthanChaotic in her place as she wanted the character to be more memorable.
