Corvus is member of The Damned who briefly led a hostile takeover of Outpost High Ground.

Personality

Corvus does not seem to value life, eliminating the guards of Outpost High Ground without hesitation and abandoning her Sangheili comrades upon losing a firefight against a Spartan.

Role in Plot

Events of Season 1

Corvus first appears at the end of Invader, paired with three Sangheili comrades, where she encounters Cayde Jasper waking up from a coma. She tells Jasper to be at ease before revealing her red energy sword and attacking him. She later appears in Overture, shooting Louie Vargas and his two robot companions with her Carbine rifle. She later appears in Retrograde, where she is shown interrogating Frank Collins just before killing him with her Energy Sword. She later witnesses a familiar Spartan, immediately recognizing him before entering a shootout that leads to the deaths of her Sangheili comrades before she narrowly escapes on her Ghost while swearing she and the Spartan would meet again.

Corvus during Ambush

First seen at the end of Deception, Corvus and her three comrades took control of Outpost High Ground. When a SPARTAN-IV showed up with five robot soldiers, Corvus sniped him in the face and imprisoned the robots. When the robots reactivate in Ambush, Corvus recruited them to join The Damned. While the robots agreed to join her cause, everyone but her and Pink were eliminated by Emery Eden. Narrowly escaping by driving her mongoose into the ocean, it is unknown where she or Pink are.

Trivia

  • Her appearance and sword color were inspired by Darth Vader, the main antagonist of the original Star Wars trilogy, as was her original voice portrayal in WarGames.
  • Her name means "raven" in Latin, in reference to her dark color scheme like the dark feathers of a raven.
  • While she wore the Mirage chest plate and Security shoulder pads in WarGames, she wears the Tanker chest plate with EVA shoulder pads while retaining her EOD helmet in Season 1. Her voice portrayal also differs from that series, with Syp wanting her to sound more robotic and inhuman.
