Corporal Ellie Melons is a soldier stationed on Outpost Rat's Nest, voiced by Ebb!.

Ellie is bubbly and somewhat naive. Despite this, she's also very opinionated.

Her secondary color was chosen in reference to her voice actor, Ebb!, whose favorite character from the popular Halo machinima series Red vs. Blue is Lavernius Tucker, who wears aqua armor.
In early drafts of Rat's Nest, she was going to be related to Frank Collins due to them both being British. Syp The Mighty ultimately chose for Ellie to be her own character instead, feeling it wouldn't make sense for too many characters to be related after the Ve ga sisters and the Jones triplets.
