In Boss, Alana joins Ignacio Dominguez in gathering the training robots for their first real mission. Later, in Upgrade, she is sent to transfer the guards stationed at Outpost Black Out to the headquarters of Trinity Advancements. At the end of Ambush, Randy DeLuca tells Ignacio that he has lost communication with Alana and her pelican.

She was originally voiced by Intro-Mind, with a deeper voice portrayal, in her debut vocal appearance before Syp went in another direction for the character in Infinity.
She was originally to fulfill Emery's role in Infinity, being an inexperienced UNSC pilot, but this was changed during production. Her one line in the episode, in which she says "Reasons...", is all that remains of her appearance in this episode. Despite only having one line, Syp would retain the portrayal from that delivery upon Alana's return in BOSS, the fifth episode of WarGames.
