Riel is a Sangheili member of Damned, a group of raiders seeking to take control of Outpost High Ground.
Riel joined Corvus, Kazi, and Fazeka in arriving on Outpost High Ground at the end of Invader, witnessing Corvus eliminate Cayde Jasper. She appears again in Overture, where she's shown to have partaken in taking over the outpost after which Riel was tasked with watching over the three prisoners.

Riel was a commando who was loyal to Damned, a large organization of raiders who are determined to awaken Starbreaker, a Forerunner she believed to still be alive in captivity.
Riel was a dedicated member of The Damned, helping Corvus in recruiting non-human species to their cause.
First seen at the end of Deception and under the command of Corvus, Riel took part in taking control of Outpost High Ground. When Spartan IV Louie Vargas showed up with five robot soldiers, Riel incapacitated the red robot with the help of Fazeka and Kazi. When the robots reactivate in Ambush, Riel helped Corvus recruit the robots to join Damned. While they agreed to join her cause, Riel was eliminated by Trooper alongside Kazi when he blew up their Wraith Tank with plasma grenades.
