Yellow
Unit Y is a series of Protocol Robots. The ones located in Outpost Pit Fall are designed to partake in simulated firefights against trainee soldiers to prepare them for combat. One of these robots was used by Ignacio Dominguez to investigate an incident on Outpost High Ground, called Yellow The Rookie.
Role in Plot
Yellow Training Robot
In Boss, Yellow is recruited by Ignacio Dominguez and Alana Reynolds to take part in a real military operation and she even helps them find the others to Red's detriment. The next day, in Upgrade, Yellow and the other training robots is informed about their incoming mission by Ignacio and to be led by Spartan Louie Vargas as part of an investigation into a suspected Flood outbreak, much to Yellow's confusion. Upon landing on Outpost High Ground with Louie and the other robots in Deception, she goes with Green toward a large crater in the outpost. Once there, the pair discover the bodies of Frank Collins and Diego Jones as Yellow notes their injuries to a disinterested Green. Yellow and Green then encounter Pink and Blue upon Louie's sudden death. Just before Green comes up with a plan, they robots are surrounded by a soldier clad in black armor and three Sangheili.
The next day, in Ambush, Riel and Kazi hold Yellow and the other robots as prisoner as Riel explains that she and her companions are members of The Damned before Corvus enters to explain the situation and attempts recruiting Yellow and the other robots to join The Damned. After Blue is eliminated, Yellow joins Red and Green in a warthog to follow Corvus and the Sangheili but is immediately attacked and blown up by Emery Eden with all three being destroyed.
Trivia
- She is an older character created by Syp who appeared in a short video with Green and Red titled SPARTANS, in which WarGames seemingly continues directly after.
