Trivia
- This episode introduces Blankslate_GG as the voice of Miller, taking over from Syp The Mighty.
- Coincidentally, as this episode's title was decided long before it aired to be about Jace, this title can also apply to Miller's recasting.
- It's revealed that the guards of Outpost Black Out had been stationed for a year prior to Geff's arrival, and given Geff stated he'd been there for three years in HQ (episode), it can be assumed that the guards have been on Outpost Black Out for at least four years.
- The Halo engine returns in this episode, used for its opening flashback set four years prior to the events of the series.
- The scene with Ignacio and Randy was originally intended for the previous episode, as this episode was to feature that episode's Emery scene. This was due to Syp feeling swapping them serviced the story better, as she felt Ignacio and Randy's mention of the repair robot would be too soon if it were within that episode.
- Ignacio informs Randy that Trinity is requesting the discharge of Geff, with Trinity being considered an important partner to the UNSC.
- The repair robot from the previous episode is revealed to have been sent by Ignacio, knowing it was defective with the intent on it killing the guards of Outpost Black Out.
