The United Nations Space Command, often abbreviated to UNSC, is the acting government of Earth who operates the SAFE. Internal announcements from the UNSC are released through the Waypoint Bulletin, a digital newsletter distributed to all personnel, while their emailing service is called Waypoint Mail.

Divisions

  • SAFE - A mass surveillance project involving several outposts becoming satellites monitored by the UNSC Cosmo and guarded by low-level soldiers.
  • SPARTAN Program - A controversial project that created several supersoldiers for the UNSC, including the Brigadier.
    • SPARTAN-IV program - The fourth iteration of this program, discontinued two years prior to the events of the series.
  • Orbital Drop Shock Troopers - Also known as ODST, elite soldiers who are dropped from the sky.

Personnel that oversees the SAFE, headquartered within the UNSC Cosmo.
