Kazi is a Sangheili member of The Damned, a group of raiders seeking to take control of Outpost High Ground.

Role in Plot

Events of Season 1

Kazi joined Corvus, Riel, and Fazeka in arriving on Outpost High Ground at the end of Invader, witnessing Corvus eliminate Cayde Jasper. He later appears in Overture, being startled by Green and Yellow's presence and deactivating them by brute force before meeting back up with Fazeka. After, in Retrograde, Kazi participates in Corvus' continued crusade on the outpost by eliminating the remaining guards. Kazi then entered a shootout with a mysterious soldier that led to his death.

Trivia

  • He was originally planned to be voiced by Syp The Mighty, and speak English like Riel, but this was changed during production as Syp and Revoltge thought it was funnier for the Sangheili to speak in grunts and screams similar to their portrayal in Halo: Combat Evolved, the first Halo game. Revoltge took over the role for this, and will do so for future Sangheili characters in the future.
  • He is named after Kazi from the BIONICLE franchise.
