• Polly's armor color is an inverse of Dino Jones, though there's no connection between the two characters outside of this.
• Her full name Polly Pockett is a reference to the Polly Pocket toyline.
• In early drafts of Rat's Nest, Polly was going to be Percy O'Hara prior to his reassignment to Outpost Pit Fall alongside Dino Jones. This was changed by Syp The Mighty, who felt it would be too similar to Jace Casper's inclusion.
