Rat's Nest
Rat's Nest is an upcoming action comedy miniseries created by Syp The Mighty and Revoltge that serves as a prequel to Guard Duty. This series will center on Emery Eden just prior to his introduction in Season 1 as well as featuring the guards stationed on eponymous outpost. Like Season 1, Syp returns to direct from a screenplay she wrote with Revoltge.
It is currently in production, though no release date will be given until production wraps.

- This series was announced in Coming Soon, a fourth-wall breaking Sides episode produced upon the end of Classic Season 2. It was written shortly after Season 1 at the end of 2023 into early 2024. Its production was reaffirmed in Stay Tuned, another fourth-wall breaking Sides episode, where its logo was revealed as well as the involvement of animators EprothStudios and Sephtic returning from Season 1.
- Syp and Revoltge consider Emery Eden, a recurring character throughout Season 1, to be the protagonist of this series. Despite this, they do not consider it required viewing for the upcoming second season.
- Taking the lessons learned from the production of Season 1, Syp intends for this series to be fully produced prior to airing for a weekly release schedule as well as having its soundtrack scored-to-picture in preparation for the upcoming second Guard Duty season.
