Emery Eden is the main antagonist of Guard Duty, voiced by series co-writer Revoltge. He is an assassin with a vendetta against Trinity, specifically one of its founders who happens to be the mother of Geff Rodrigo. As part of his one-man war against them, he kidnapped Geff as well as the other guards stationed on Outpost Black Out.
Personality
Emery is a deranged and violent man who usually attacks first and asks questions later, with the major exception being the guards of Outpost Black Out, but only because it serves his purposes. He's also delusional, seeing a manifestation of his more rational thoughts in the form of Prim, one of his many victims.

Trivia
- In the original script for Infinity, Emery was intended to be a throwaway character as an inexperienced UNSC pilot. When series co-writer Revoltge was cast, the character's personality was drastically changed and his role was later expanded due to series creator Syp The Mighty enjoying his performance so much.
- He is exclusively referred to as "the Pilot" from his debut until Reactionary. Revoltge had actually came up with Emery's real name in 2012 while he and Syp were producing Annoyances, a Sides episode. It would not be revealed until 11 years later, in Truth, the penultimate episode of Season 2.
- While he debuted wearing a Scout chest plate in Infinity, he instead has a Recon chest plate to complete the armor set upon his return in Elsewhere. This was an error, as Syp had misremembered his chest plate during production and had yet to fully rewatch the first season. Because of this, Syp included an explanation in the final episode of WarGames, in which Emery appears with his original Scout chest plate before stealing the Recon chest plate from the corpse of Spartan Louie Vargas, who had died in the previous episode. For consistency, Emery is seen wearing the Scout chest plate again in Dare's opening flashback to when he lied to the guards about being reassigned to Cold Storage.
- In Truth, he reveals he used to be an ODST and fought during the Invasion War prior to becoming an assassin.
