- This season is a reimagining of Classic Season 2.
- When first announced in Coming Soon, it was said to be a director's cut rather than a full remake. This was later changed during the production of Season 1 and Rat's Nest, with Syp and Revoltge wanting to greatly expand the plot. Despite this, like Season 1, the story of this season will still follow the same beats as its Classic counterpart.
