The two are constantly at odds due to Prim disapproving of Emery's decisions and choices in the wake of his one-sided war with [[Trinity]]. Prim also hates Emery with every fiber of his being, which doesn't help their situation. Prim's ghost is technically not a ghost, but a manifestation of Emery's more humane thoughts, simply taking the form of Prim.

The next day, in ''[[Machine]]'', when Emery returns with fuel stolen from High Ground while Prim was watching the warthog. Prim then chastises Emery for wasting time on his mission when Emery mocked him for asking how he didn't get caught. The two have a tense back and forth before moving forward with driving to [[Outpost Pit Fall]] in the hopes of stealing a pelican. Later, upon arriving on Outpost Pit Fall in the dead of night during ''[[Stashed]]'', Prim judgmentally questioned Emery's actions. The next morning, in ''[[Overture]]'', Prim witnesses Emery murder [[Alana Reynolds|a SPARTAN-IV supersoldier]] to steal her pelican only to chastise him for attempting a one-liner.

Prim is irritable, yet rational compared to his associate Emery. The two are constantly at odds due to Prim disapproving of Emery's decisions including the latter's planned capture of Geff Rodrigo. Prim also hates Emery with every fiber of his being, which doesn't help their situation.

Role in Plot

Events of Season 1

As Emery Eden drives up on the beach of Outpost High Ground in the dead of night in Fax, Prim stared at him judgmentally. The next day, in Machine, when Emery returns with fuel stolen from High Ground while Prim was watching the warthog. Prim then chastises Emery for wasting time on his mission when Emery mocked him for asking how he didn't get caught. The two have a tense back and forth before moving forward with driving to Outpost Pit Fall in the hopes of stealing a pelican. Later, upon arriving on Outpost Pit Fall in the dead of night during Stashed, Prim judgmentally questioned Emery's actions. The next morning, in Overture, Prim witnesses Emery murder a SPARTAN-IV supersoldier to steal her pelican only to chastise him for attempting a one-liner.

Prim briefly appears in Ambush, making fun of Emery Eden for missing his shots against the runaway Mongoose.

Prim appears spying on the guards in Paranoia, and later observes Emery Eden slaughtering a different set of guards on Outpost Ice Box in Elsewhere. When Emery arrives on Cold Storage in Arrival, Prim criticizes Emery for threatening Sarah Daws and June Vega. He and Emery observe the guards again in Reactionary, before Emery finally makes his presence known to everyone in Truth.

After Emery is attacked by Molotov and Cocktail in Dare, Prim insults him and expresses dismay at his survival during the whole ordeal after Emery takes Geff Rodrigo.
