Prim is a ghost who only Emery Eden can see, voiced by TheIdsStudios.
Personality
Prim is irritable, yet rational compared to his ball and chain Emery. The two are constantly at odds due to Prim disapproving of Emery's decisions and choices in the wake of his one-sided war with Trinity. Prim also hates Emery with every fiber of his being, which doesn't help their situation. Prim's ghost is technically not a ghost, but a manifestation of Emery's more humane thoughts, simply taking the form of Prim.
Role in Plot
Events of Season 1
As Emery Eden drives up on the beach of Outpost High Ground in the dead of night inFax, Prim stared at him judgmentally.
Classic continuity
Events of Classic Season 2
Prim appears spying on the guards in Paranoia, and later observes Emery Eden slaughtering a different set of guards on Outpost Ice Box in Elsewhere. When Emery arrives on Cold Storage in Arrival, Prim criticizes Emery for threatening Sarah Daws and June Vega. He and Emery observe the guards again in Reactionary, before Emery finally makes his presence known to everyone in Truth.
After Emery is attacked by Molotov and Cocktail in Dare, Prim insults him and expresses dismay at his survival during the whole ordeal after Emery takes Geff Rodrigo.
Trivia
- He was designed by Syp's brother Primal, whom he is also named after.
- When Primal came up with Prim's appearance, he was originally all white. Series creator Syp The Mighty would add Teal as a secondary color to make Prim's color scheme an inverse of Emery Eden.
- During the production of Paranoia, Prim was intended to be alive and act as the main villain of Classic Season 2. This was changed upon Revoltge rejoining the series as Emery Eden, whose role was expanded from his initial appearance in Infinity and would be reintroduced in the following episode. Because Paranoia had already aired, Prim was added to Elsewhere during filming as both Syp and Revoltge came up with the idea of Prim being a ghost haunting Emery. This would later be revealed in Truth, the penultimate episode of the season.
- When Prim was going to be the main villain, Syp or Primal were going to voice him. This was changed upon Revoltge's return as Emery Eden, with Syp casting her close good friend TheIdsStudios instead.
- While only considered to be a minor character by Syp and Revoltge during the production of Classic Season 2, Prim's presence has increased due to his association with Emery.
