Classic Season 1 is the original first installment in the Guard Duty series, airing from January 5, 2012 until June 23, 2012. It was written and directed by Syp The Mighty, with Revoltge co-directing its finale.
Along with the original series pilot from 2011, three episodes that aired from late 2012 until 2013 were retroactively considered this season's portion of Guard Duty Sides in 2022. The At The Movies re-release of this season premiered on April 29, 2022, nearly ten years after it ended.
Season 1 is a reimagining of this season, which saw the cast of Classic Season 2 reprise their roles.
