Trivia
- This is the first episode to feature animation outside of the Halo 3 game engine, animated by EprothStudios. Originally, the scene was going to be traditionally filmed like machinima before Syp considered asking Eproth due to the scene's complication.
- June regains her Mark V helmet from Classic, revealed to be Robot's helmet fixed and given to June by Sarah with Nicole's help.
- Sarah and Nicole reference the 1984 film The Terminator when discussing Robot's helmet actually being a helmet rather than its whole head. Syp had actually planned on editing a still image from that film to represent Robot's head before the scene's animator EprothStudios suggested the modified helmet from The Master Chief Collection version of Halo 3.
- This episode reintroduces Corvus, Kazi, Fazeka, and Riel from WarGames, albeit with Corvus having a new voice direction.
- It is revealed that Jasper survived his encounter with Emery Eden in Machine, only for him to truly die at the hands of Corvus.
- Rather than have Blankslate record new audio, Syp instead utilized alternate takes from Machine as she had written the scene very late into production.
- Pathfinder is introduced in this episode, though her role in the story has yet to be revealed.
- Forge was intended to be a different character voiced by Revoltge, but this was changed at the last minute as Revoltge lacked the time to record the lines.
- This episode aired on Bungie Day, a community day for the developer of Halo 3, albeit unintentionally.
Errors
- Syp is not credited as Ignacio in the end credits, with Syp simply forgetting his presence in the episode by the time she was editing the credits.
- The audio for Forge is louder than intended, with Syp not realizing until after the episode had already aired. Syp intends to remedy this for the season's planned At The Movies re-release, with Jax Beetle to takeover the role.
